June 2005

First of all, I would like to thank all those who are responsible for providing us with z400central.com. I found this site a few days before I bought my Z and I've had daily visits since then to see whats new. It is the ultimate site for all Z400 owners and I'm sure many friendships have been developed as a result of meeting on the site. Thanks guys for giving us all a site we can enjoy. I would also like to thank all those who voted and participated in this contest. It really means alot to get noticed for all of our hard work. There were some nice quads as usual and I'm sure the voting was close.
June QOTM! Actually,I never thought I would have one nice enough to win until I finished it and stood back and took a look. That was when I knew I had something special and wanted to see if everyone else felt the same way. It all started after noticing some cracks in the frame. Since I was already out for a few months with an injury, I took that time to strip it down and have the frame fixed. I went with the yellow frame hoping it would match my stock plastics. But after getting it done, it was a different shade of yellow, so I called up Sweetquads and he fixed me up with the black Lakers. I then went to a national at Birchcreek and saw several black and yellow bikes, but none with the blue color mixed in. So the new K&K graphics were a perfect match. I already had many of the other parts on, so that just needed repowdercoating. Now maybe when I go to a race and pit with my friends, people will stop to look at my bike too instead of just my buddie's YFZ! Long live the Z!
Thanks,
TennZ
