As many of you know, this is the second build on my Z400. It was also up last year for September QOTM and tied for the win! I was really excited about that build. My boyfriend J did all the of work on it, minus what we sent out to be powder coated, chromed, or the rebuilt shocks. His ideas are amazing! I did a lot of polishing on the first build. I still have people PM me about how to polish, lol. Anyway, we still realized we could do more with it. There’s no place to ride around here in the winter so we started it all over again. The upkeep on the polished parts became a hassle, so we sent a lot of parts out to be chromed and powder coated, over what was already done. Being female, I also spent a lot of time shopping around on the net for parts, graphics, and anything that would make it different from all of the others, over the top, without being gaudy.

I can’t express how happy I am how it all turned out. The best pictures in the world do not do it justice. I’m still shocked we found chrome zip ties! We brought my Z out for the first time at Loretta Lynn’s. I couldn’t ride it two feet without being stopped by someone who wanted to walk around it ten times or take pictures. There were numerous photo shoots, as well as one by ATV Sport. It should be in their magazine in the next month or two. There were a lot of girls that were telling they’re men, “If you get me one like that, I’ll ride it!” (This could be a way to get your woman out riding!)
